How do I reheat your meals?

Set your microwave on the highest power level, vent of the corners of the box and microwave for 90 seconds up to 2:30 minutes, depending on the strength of your microwave. We suggest that all reheated food reach 165 degrees. (Reheating the food above suggested temperature will damage the quality of the food).

When will my meals be ready?

All orders placed before midnight each Friday will be ready for delivery or pickup on Monday the following week. 

Is your food prepared safety?

From the time of purchase to the time it reaches your table is only 4 days. All of our meals are prepared in a commercial kitchen that has been inspected by the Tennessee State Health Department. Our Chef and staff have been Food Safe Certified.

Where do you purchase your food?

We try to use as many local distributors as we can that offer the best quality of food. We purchase food for Eat Fresh just as we would for our own home. Fresh, affordable and of the highest quality.

Can your meals be frozen?

Yes, they can. But we make fresh, new meals every week so that you don’t have to freeze them.

What if I have food allergies?

We use the purest of ingredients so that food allergies can be identified by labeling all our meals according to what is in the meal. Most of the meals at Eat Fresh are gluten free, except the occasional pasta dish, but it will be labeled as such.

How long are my meals good for?

According to the state of Tennessee, prepared food is good for up to 7 days, including the day it was prepared. Eat Fresh puts an expiration sticker on every packaged meal that leaves our kitchen. It can mostly be found on the back of the box.

How do I store my food?

Meals have two hours from time of delivery to be refrigerated up to 41 degrees to ensure proper food safety and shelf life.
